The joy and excitement of a wedding ceremony was nearly cut short, when bride, Fella Makafui collapsed during her wedding to her boo, Medikal, a few days ago.
Shortly after the gripping incident, the bride was whisked away in a car, with friends, family and well-wishers seriously disturbed about what may be wrong with Fella.
After gaining her consciousness, Fella Makafui returned joyfully to the ceremonial grounds, grabbed the microphone and said:
“I’m an actress. I’ve been pranking him so I said ‘okay, lemme see if he’s gonna get scared today.”
However, Medikal’s mother, Mrs Portia Lamptey has disclosed in an interview with MzGee on 3FM’s Showbuzz that her daughter-in-law actually did faint during the ceremony, as a result of hunger and suffocation.
According to her, there were a lot of people around the newly engaged couple, when it was time for them to dance and this caused lots of discomfort for them.
This, then resulted in an already hungry and exhausted Fella to go faint at the said time.
She, however, reiterated her support for the latest couple and urged the public to wish them well also.
