A lot of industry players have congratulated Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale for smoking the peace pipe after several years of bitter rivalry.
However, board member and former public relations officer of Charterhouse Ghana, George Quaye, believes that Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy only came together to fight the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).
The two artistes were banned indefinitely from the awards scheme, stripped of all the awards they won last year and asked to return the plaques after creating chaos at the event in 2019.
During the event, Shatta Wale was seen forcibly mounting the stage while Stonebwoy was receiving an award.

As Shatta Wale and his crew mounted the stage, Stonebwoy was seen with a gun.
After the incident, the two artistes announced to the world that they had made peace and won’t fight each other again.
But George Quaye believes that the unity between the two is only intended to fight the VGMAs.
“Coming together was to stand against the scheme,” he said at a press engagement at Alisa Hotel.
George Quaye argues that but for the sanctions, the two acts would not have taken that decision.
