Tano South MP motivates education and health workers with awards 

Mr Charles Akwase Asiedu, the Member of Parliament for Tano South Constituency, has awarded workers in the Education and Health sectors as part of efforts to motivate them to enhance service delivery in the area.  

The awards ceremony, held at Bechem aimed to recognise the dedication and hard work of these essential workers, particularly those posted in deprived areas. 

 In an interview with the Ghana News Agency, Mr Asiedu revealed that the initiative was designed to encourage workers to improve their daily performance and emphasied that their efforts were crucial to the development of the constituency.

He pledged to continue the initiative and extend it to other sectors in the coming years to improve the overall well-being of the community. 

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the area, Mr. Emmanuel Kwame Frimpong, acknowledged the MP’s initiative, saying that it would motivate workers to strive for excellence in their duties. 

 He urged public service workers to remain committed to their work and emphasised that their efforts were vital to boosting education and health sectors in the Municipality. 

 Mr Frimpong promised that the Assembly would take the necessary measures to improve developmental status in various sectors under President John Mahama’s administration. 

Nana Awoapo Serwaa Gyamena II, Queen Mother of Bechem Traditional Council, appealed to the government and authorities to upgrade the Bechem Government Hospital to its standard position, comparing it to enhance healthcare delivery in the town.

She expressed appreciation to the Member of Parliament for his initiative to motivate workers in the area and hoped the initiative would inspire improved performance and dedication among workers.
