Showbiz pundit Emmanuel Barnes, popularly known as Mr Logic, sees nothing wrong with celebrities endorsing political parties.

His comment comes after former President and NDC presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama position’s on celebrities endorsing political parties.

The NDC flag-bearer said that he has refrained from using celebrities for campaigns because the public misconstrue their endorsements and their careers suffer.

John Dramani Mahama stated he is not angry with musicians Sarkodie and Samini for endorsing his opponent, Akufo-Addo.

Mr Logic on Hitz FM said contracting celebrities and public figures to endorse products or brands has been a “tried and tested method of winning followers”.

“The matter of a celeb endorsing a political party or brand makes a lot of sense and I don’t see anything wrong with it.”

“It is not wrong to contract a celeb to do such endorsements. It never affects the profession of the individual based on how they do it,” Mr. Logic said.
