A chaotic collision involving an STC bus and two trucks left ten people injured on the Konongo-Kumasi Highway near Kubease on Thursday.
The accident, which occurred on March 5, 2026, caused severe damage to the vehicles and trapped the STC driver in his cab.
A rescue team from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), led by AStnO Danku Christian, worked swiftly to free the driver, Mr. Isaac Yigah.
The injured, including Madam Ampofo Manu and Mr. Benjamin Akpana, are currently receiving treatment at the Asante Akyem Central Municipal Hospital and Ejisu Government Hospital.
While the front of the STC bus was crushed and the driver’s side of the Benz Atego truck was caved in, the Volvo truck sustained damage to its front cowl.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the pile-up.
