Actor and singer Emelia Brobbey has admitted that she got hurt by the numerous trolls after she released her first single.

Social media users mocked her for her debut song titled ‘Fa Me Ko’ in 2019.

They claimed her voice was terrible and this affected the vocal delivery on the tune.

However, Emelia Brobbey says the trolls she received from fans on social media was a blessing in disguise.

According to her, the trolls made the song popular so she needed little promotion.

“To be honest, at some point it was really hurting, I mean because some were really insulting me and at some point I said okay, ‘they’re just making fun of the song so that it’ll be popular, so that everybody can sing, so that wherever I am and they raise ‘Fa Me Ko’ they can sing along and there’ll be a great vibe”

“So, I might say that to me, I think it’s a blessing in disguise because it really didn’t give me much work to do so far as promotion is concerned but some few insults were hurting. I’m human, I mean I can’t say that it didn’t hurt.”, she said.

In January, 2020, Emelia Brobbey released her second single titled ‘Odo Electric’ featuring Wendy Shay.

She plans to collaborate with Prince Bright of Buk Bak, Kuami Eugene and other Ghanaian artistes.
