Two Senior High Schools (SHS) in the Asokore-Mampong municipality are to benefit from 18-unit classroom blocks each, under the GETFund project.
The beneficiary schools are the Nurul Ameen SHS and Sakafiya SHS.
The project is expected to be completed within 10 months of commencement.

Mr Ben Abdullah Alhassan, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Asokore Mampong, handing over the project sites to contractors, said it marked another important step towards expanding access to quality education for young people in the municipality.
He noted that the visionary leadership of John Dramani Mahama had ensured that the municipality witnessed a renewed investment in infrastructure that would support and accelerate the development of education.
He noted that the municipality would not relent on its efforts to ensure that every child could learn and thrive.
Mr Alhassan explained that the government continued to strive for its unwavering commitment to prioritising the education sector.

The MCE extended sincere gratitude to Mr Haruna Iddrisu, Minister for Education, for his tireless support and dedication in making these critical projects a reality.
He also commended the Member of Parliament for the Asawase Constituency, saying his continued advocacy, strong leadership, and relentless efforts had played a pivotal role in attracting meaningful development to Asokore Mampong Municipality.
Mr Alhassan assured the people of his commitment to support, monitor closely, and ensure the timely and quality delivery of these two vital projects.
The government is here to reset Ghana for the better, to rebuild institutions, restore hope, and make life meaningfully better for every citizen, regardless of background or location, he added
”Together, we are building a Ghana where education empowers our youth, drives progress, and secures a brighter future for all”, he added
