Edem believes female artist Eno Barony must be awarded the ‘Best Rapper’ at the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
The event is scheduled for August 29, 2020 and will be held virtually.
Edem is of the view that a victory for Eno will encourage a lot of female rappers to strive to achieve more.
“…will encourage a lot of other ladies who rap…a lot of ladies are not in the rap space”, he said on Accra FM.
Touting her abilities, the Ewe rapper described Eno as “a really, really dope rapper”.
The female rapper comes up against EL, Medikal, Teephlow, Strongman, Sarkodie and Kwesi Arthur in this year’s ‘Best Rapper’ category.
Rapper Edem explained that his name did not appear in the list because he didn’t put out a lot of rap works in the year under review.
