Sarkodie’s personal disc jockey, DJ Mensah, has picked Eno Barony over Sarkodie for the ‘Best Rapper’ award for the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
DJ Mensah is rallying support for the only female in the category, Eno Barony, to win the award.
Eno is the only lady among seven artistes gunning for the accolade that has for the past two decades been the preserve of men.
She will have to battle with Sarkodie, Joey B, Strongman, Kwesi Arthur, EL and reigning ‘Best Rapper’, Medikal.
DJ Mensah believes that Eno Barony deserves the award even over his own artiste, Sarkodie.
‘Tough one but I want you to win this one for me babe @eno_barony’, DJ Mensah commented on the female rapper’s post on Instagram.
