This year’s Volta Fair Women’s Forum will focus on strengthening entrepreneurial capacity among women in the region and positioning them for international business partnerships.
Mr Fredrick Avornyo, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Volta Fair, announced that Wednesday 3, 2025, Women’s Forum would be held on the theme, “Empowering Volta Women Entrepreneurs for Global Partnerships.”
The forum forms part of efforts to elevate women-led businesses and equip them with the skills needed to compete globally.
In a statement, the organisers said the session aimed to create a platform for meaningful dialogue on how to prepare women for international markets.
“We encourage all women in business and emerging entrepreneurs to join us as we deliberate on strategies for global participation,” the statement noted.
The forum is expected to bring together business leaders, mentors, policymakers, and development partners to discuss access to finance, digital readiness, branding, export opportunities, and capacity building for women in the Volta Region.
According to the planning committee, empowering women with the right tools and networking avenues remains essential for expanding the region’s economic influence.
The forum will also highlight success stories from women-led enterprises and provide guidance on leveraging global value chains.
The Volta Fair continues to position the region as a hub for innovation, investment, and inclusive entrepreneurial growth.
