Ghanaian twin group DopeNation has thrown jabs at Tema based rapper Kwesi Arthur in their latest song titled “Chairman”.
The song was allegedly leaked on Monday morning and has since got social media buzzing due to the heavy punch lines directed at the “Grind Day” hitmaker.
Speaking about their motive for making the song, DopeNation in a video stated that Kwesi Arthur and his crew disrespected them at a concert at Ghana Telecom University about two weeks ago.
According to the twins, they were getting ready to mount the stage for their performance when suddenly they were pushed aside by Kwesi Arthur and his boys who went ahead to perform instead of them.
This infuriated the twins so much that after the show they hit the studio and made the song titled “Chairman” to address the issue.
However, after sleeping on it, they decided not to release the song because it was not necessary therefore it comes as a surprise to them that the song was leaked and is getting so much buzz on social media.
DopeNation in the video stated that artistes need to give each other respect and a simple apology from Kwesi Arthur’s camp would have made them happy but unfortunately they have not heard a word from him.
They then warned Kwesi not to bother with a reply because they have five other diss songs waiting to be thrown at him should he decide to retaliate.
Kwesi Arthur and his team are yet to comment on this issue.
