Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay has explained why a vehicle branded in the colours of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) was spotted at her peace campaign.

Shay Foundation on 21st November 2020 embarked on a peace awareness cleanup exercise at Nima.

The aim of the event was to reach out to residents about the need for Ghanaians to maintain and consolidate the peace in the nation.

It is reported that an NDC vehicle was spotted playing political songs beside the crowd.

This led many to wonder if Wendy Shay has endorsed the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to the “Uber driver” hitmaker, she is apolitical and has not taken any money from the NDC before embarking on this project.

She further explained that the NDC vehicle present there at the cleanup exercise was just available for their movements.

Wendy Shay stressed that the action does not in anyway indicate that she has endorsed the NDC.
