Kumasi-based actress and singer, Yaa Jackson have taken a swipe at Rufftown Records signee, Wendy Shay, for claiming to be the queen of Ghanaian music.
Wendy who has managed to remain controversial on social media with a couple of tweets over the last few weeks has continuously claimed to be the queen of music in Ghana.
In her most recent tweet, the singer, ‘Kut It’ singer asked Nana Akufo Addo to invite her, the queen of Gh Music to the flagstaff house as he did to Shatta Wale some years ago.
Her comment did not go down well with a good number of people on social media and most of her followers tagged her as being rude and refusing to respect her pioneers in the game.
Joining the band of bashers is Yaa Jackson who has released a couple of songs herself.
In her post on Twitter, Yaa subtly shades Wendy by asking who crowned her as the queen of Ghana music like she keeps professing.
Yaa tweeted;
“So who crowned her queen of Ghana music?? Boi!.. I wonder why Dem dey call demma selves QUEENS!!
Where my #woshposse deh!!”
Obviously Yaa Jackson has a problem with Wendy referring to herself with that title and could not hide her disagreement any longer.
