Ghanaian dancehall act, Epixode has jabbed his father Shatta Wale, after the latter called him mad.
Speaking in a video posted on social media, Epixode stressed that he was very much interested in winning a VGMA award, if Shatta Wale wasn’t.
To him, the award isn’t just about fame, it’s about posterity being able to identify his works and again the VGMA gives a large platform for many artistes to be recognised world wide.
Further in his video, Epixode asked his godfather; “Everyday ghetto youth this, ghetto youth that, who you help? You say I am mad, yeah… because I am a critical thinker. But since you are my father, if I am mad, I and my father are …??”
