Ghanaian artiste, Sefa has said it is nearly impossible for an artiste in Ghana to cross the borders of the country with his music, without good connections.
According to her, it’s mostly about getting to know people in foreign countries who can promote your music and that is how you will breakthrough on the international front.
Sefa added that you can have a really bad song but your ability to network with the right people outside of Ghana will put you at a vantage point and will help you to get your breakthrough internationally.
Speaking in an interview on UTV’s United Showbiz program, the Black Avenue Musik signee said;
“The International market most Ghanaians penetrate is not about how good you’re but it’s about who you know out there. It’s about your plugs because you can have the wackest song but if you know the right people you will be able to break into the international market. So it’s not about artistes no having a vision beyond Ghana.”
