Zenith Bank Ghana has held its 2025 Light-Up Ceremony and Carols Night, reaffirming its commitment to spreading Christmas cheer and celebrating teamwork, resilience and shared growth.
The Staff used the occasion to reenact the story of the birth of Jesus Christ as part of celebration.
The performance featured staff taking up the roles of Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, the wise men and angels, depicting the journey to Bethlehem, the manger scene and the visit of the Magi bringing each scene to life with expressive narration and coordinated movements.

The act was marked by singing, narration and dramatisation, creating a lively and reflective atmosphere.
The reenactment highlighted themes of humility, peace and joy, and brought staff together in a shared expression of the Christmas story.
They mesmerised the audience with their impressive dance moves, adding colour, rhythm and excitement to the presentation.
The performance created a joyful atmosphere and showcased the creativity and unity of the staff during the event.
Mr. Henry C. Onwuzurigbo, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Bank Ghana, said since 2018, the Bank had illuminated its Head Office on Independence Avenue and the Airport Enclave during the Christmas season, bringing joy to staff, commuters, travellers and the public.
He said the Bank continued the tradition in 2025 to celebrate the joy of the season and the hope it represented.
Mr. Onwuzurigbo said the performances at the Carols Night reflected the spirit of collaboration and joy that defined Team Zenith and the wider Zenith family.
He explained that the lighting of Zenith Heights and the Airport Enclave symbolised the Bank’s journey, team spirit, oneness and resilience, even in challenging moments.
The MD/CEO encouraged stakeholders to reflect on the journey travelled together and the path ahead as the Bank prepared for 2026.
She said 2025 was particularly significant as the Bank marked 20 years of banking operations in the country on the theme: “20 Years of Impact, A Lifetime of Shared Growth.”
He expressed appreciation to customers, staff, regulators, partners and the public for their support.
He said despite a challenging operating environment, the Bank remained focused, disciplined and strategic.
He said Zenith Bank Ghana introduced innovative products, including the Zenith Visa Fleet Card, the Eazy Cash mobile micro loan solution, and the Mastercard Foundation Bridge-in-Agriculture programme.
Mr. Onwuzurigbo said the Bank also advanced its digital transformation by upgrading its website to make it more user-friendly, secure and accessible, in line with its commitment to delivering world-class digital experiences.
He said the Bank recorded strong financial performance and received several industry awards, including Best Banking Group in Ghana and Best Bank in Ghana, as well as the Financial Times London’s Bank of the Year Award, which Zenith Bank has won for the sixth time.
