The Chief Executive Officer of CBOD has suggested that the high unemployment rate in the country is one of Ghana’s biggest problem, citing statistics from the African Development Bank.

Senyo Kwasi Hosi made the statement while speaking at an entrepreneurship workship at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science Technology.

The African Development Bank estimates that by 2030, the unemployment rate across the continent would hit about 100 million.

According to the Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors boss, economic factors including GDP, government’s failed policies and others should not be prioritised as part of the country’s problems.

He further charged the youth arm themselves and take up entrepreneurship opportunities.
