Ghana has recorded 1,042 confirmed Covid-19 cases in the country.
Coronavirus cases in Ghana rose from 834 to 1,042 on Sunday, April 19.
So far 99 patients have recovered and have been discharged.
A total of nine persons have lost their lives after contracting the virus.
Ghana has so far tested over 60,000 cases since the outbreak of the virus.
In its routine updates, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) said the new development was mainly due to the enhanced contact-tracing and testing process which is ongoing.
