Ghana has recorded 281 new cases of coronavirus, the Ghana Health Service has confirmed.
The latest figure takes the total number of cases to 5,408, with 514 recoveries and 24 deaths, as of Wednesday, May 13, 2020.
The capital, Accra, remains the epicentre of the disease, with 4,147 confirmed cases.
Statistics from the Ghana Health Service suggests that out of the total number of infections, 61 percent are male while the remaining 39 percent are female.
