Leader of the International God’s Way Church, Daniel Obinim celebrated his release from police custody by flaunting $100 notes in new photos.
The preacher was arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service over the publication of false news and falsification of documents on May 19.
This was contained in a press release signed by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Ms Juliana Obeng, Head of the Public Affairs of the CID.
The statement said the lead pastor was also under investigation for other offences levelled against him.
Bishop Obinim was arraigned at a Magistrate’s Court, in Accra, and granted a GH¢100,000.00 bail with three sureties – one to be justified.
He is to make his next appearance on June 1, 2020.
The pastor was however unable to meet his bail conditions till Friday May, 22.

In what looked like a celebration after his release, Daniel Obinim was seen flaunting $100 notes.
Also, his special aide, Richard Jackson, debunked claim that Daniel Obinim fell ill and was rushed to the hospital upon his arrest.
