June 3rd 2015 marked a black day in the history of Ghana

Today marks five years since Ghana was plunged into sorrow after over 100 lives were lost in a double disaster at Circle in Accra.

Rainfall resulting in flood, turned into a devasting fire outbreak after a fuelling station refused to follow appropriate protocol.

154 people died and hundreds suffered severe burns resulting in permanent physical disabilities which severely undermines their suitability for the job market.

After five years, many of the victims who survived the incident are facing major hardships and no one has been held accountable.

Two survivors of the horrific nights, Alex and Uchenna share their experiences and how much life has changed for them in the last five years.
