New Patriotic Party’s Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, popularly known as Sir John, is dead.
The former General Secretary is reported to have died in Accra after a short illness.
News reports indicate that he died of coronavirus (Covid-19)
Sir John was the CEO of the Forestry Commission before his demise.
The politician was known for popularizing the term ‘fear delegates’ after losing his position as General Secretary of the NPP in an election.
