Talented Ghanaian midfielder Kudus Mohammed is close to joining Ajax from Danish top-flight side FC Nordsjælland.
According to reports, the Dutch giants have reached an agreement with Nordsjælland and the player with an official announcement expected in the coming days.
Ajax will reportedly pay €9m to Nordsjælland for the services of Kudus, who scored on his Black Stars debut against South Africa in November last year.
Nordsjaelland opted for Ajax Amsterdam despite interest from other top Europeans sides like Juventus, Manchester United, Liverpool and Dortmund in a bid to ensure gradual progress in his career with regular playing time.
In what has been a careful and excellent management of his career progress, Kudus will undergo a medical latest by Thursday before he is unveiled by the Dutch giants.
Kudus has been one of the most prolific teenagers in Denmark, scoring 12 goals in 25 appearances for Nordsjælland.
