Ghana has recorded 178 new COVID-19 cases, bringing its total number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus disease to 25,430.
Since the beginning of the month of July, this is of the lowest number of cases has recorded, after recording as many as an average of 414 positive cases daily.
According to the update on the Ghana Health Service (GHS) website on Thursday, July 16, 2020, the number of recoveries has climbed to 21,511 with the death toll staying at 139.
The Greater Accra region continues to lead with nearly 14,000 of the new cases followed by the Ashanti and Western Region.
