Black Stars midfielder Kudus Mohammed joined Ajax from FC Nordsjælland in a deal reportedly worth €9m.
The deal was sealed on Thursday after the player passed a mandatory medical in Amsterdam. He has signed a five-year contract with the Dutch champions.
Nordsjaelland opted for Ajax Amsterdam despite interest from other top Europeans sides like Juventus, Manchester United, Liverpool and Dortmund in a bid to ensure gradual progress in his career with regular playing time.
In what has been a careful and excellent management of his career progress, Kudus will undergo a medical latest by Thursday before he is unveiled by the Dutch giants.
Kudus has been one of the most prolific teenagers in Denmark, scoring 12 goals in 25 appearances for Nordsjælland.
