The Zebra boys from Cape-Coast, Prempeh College have been stopped in their quest to win the NSMQ cup for the fifth time by Achimota School.
In a fiercely contested competition, all three schools showed determination to win the day, though Anglican SHS lagged in all rounds.
Prempeh College led the competition in the first three rounds and only lost steam in the fourth round when Achimota school took over and raced graciously to the finish line.
Winning the contest with 44 points, only 3 points short of Prempeh’s 41 points means Achimota School advances to the semi-finals of the competition.
In what is expected to be the toughest quiz of today, Adisco faces quiz favourites St Peter’s SHS and Ola SHS to battle it out for a place in the semi-finals also.
