Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama has stated that his party has no problems with the electoral commission ahead of the 2020 presidential elections.
Mahama was speaking to citizens who had gathered at the Mafi Hogbetsotso festival in the Volta Region.
The former president in his speech mentioned that Ghana has enjoyed peaceful elections over the years and is hopeful that come 2020, there will be another peaceful hand over of power to his government.
He also stated that his party has no problems with the electoral commission although, for peace to prevail at the end of the elections, the EC has to do its job to perfection.
He then encouraged the EC to take the recommendations and advice of political parties in order to ensure that all parties are happy with their work.
