Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Lydia Seyram Alhassan has remembered her husband Emmanuel Kyeremateng Agyarko two years after his death.
He served as the Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency in Accra from 2012 until his death in 2018.
His wife contested in the bye-election after his death on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party and won.
The cause of his death, at the Yale–New Haven Hospital, was reportedly acid reflux and a malignant gallbladder infection.
To mark two years since the sad incident, Lydia Seyram Alhassan took to social media to share photos of the family’s visit to the graveyard.
She added that her husband will forever be remembered and cherishesd.
“2 Years ago you left us. Paradise your home. You remain in our hearts. You remain our hero who’s memory we shall forever cherish… The Children and the rest of the family pray you rest peacefully in the bosom of your maker #emmanuelkyerematengagyarko #foreverinourhearts”, she wrote.
