Order of the Star of Ghana – Officer Award at the 2024 Ghana National Honours and Awards ceremony.
Presented by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Accra International Conference Centre, this accolade recognizes Dr. Bawumia’s exceptional service, dedication, and contributions to national development.
Dr. Bawumia is widely lauded for his leadership and economic expertise, playing a pivotal role in shaping Ghana’s economic policies and spearheading digital transformation initiatives.
The Order of the Star of Ghana is the nation’s highest honor, with the Officer rank representing exceptional service in both public and private sectors.
In addition to Dr. Bawumia, key ministers from the Akufo-Addo administration were also honored for their dedcluding Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, Minister for Communications and Digitisation; Francis Asenso-Boakye, Minister for Roads and Highways; and Chief of Staff Frema Opare.
This recognition underscores the significant roles these individuals have played in governance and public seg to the nation’s progress and development.
