Justice Eric Baah, the President of Dormaa Senior High School Old Students Association (DOSA), has called on the old students to support the development of the school.
He said the school had produced a lot of professionals including a former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mr James Oppong Boanuh, and urged them to contribute their quota towards improving physical infrastructure development of the school.
Justice Baah made the call when speaking at the Third Annual Congress of the Association at Dormaa-Ahenkro, attended by staff, students, chiefs and queens and some of the old students.
He thanked those who had supported the school in diverse ways, and praised the school authorities for their inclusive leadership and commitment towards building the school.
“The successes of the various year groups are inextricably linked to the success of the national association,” he stated, adding that “we began the task of rebuilding the association, which others have tried to build successfully but didn’t yield any results.”
Justice Baah said his administration had worked hard to revive the association, developing a strong and dynamic executive council, facilitating the promulgation of its constitution as well as opening a bank account for the association.
Barimah Effirititi Sampon-Siaw, the Marewehene (sub-chief) of the Dormaa Traditional area, appealed for support towards improving the drainage system at the school.
