Dormaahene breaks grounds for construction of Dormass fence wall project   

Osagyefo Oseadeyo Agyemang Badu II, the Paramount Chief of the Dormaa Traditional Area in the Bono Region, has performed ground breaking ceremony for the construction of a fence wall project at the Dormaa Senior High School. 
 
He said as the first educational institution to be established in the area, the infrastructure development of the school ought to be tackled and pledged to support the project execution with 105 bags of cement and GHC30,000. 
 
Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Badu II, expressed appreciation to the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of their school for their sacrifices and contributions towards the development of the school, pledging continuous support for the school’s development. 
 
Speaking at a ceremony at the school’s compound at Dormaa-Ahenkro, he asked the school to ensure that the 10,000 pieces of building blocks donated by the PTA to support the project were utilized for the intended purpose. 
 
Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Badu II, also the President of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs, asked the school authorities to account for another 10,000 pieces of blocks he donated to the school in support of the project some few years ago. 
 
He urged the students, teachers and the school authorities to also maintain the 15 dustbins he presented to the school, urging the students to remain disciplined, respect the teachers and the school authorities and law abiding. 
 
Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Badu II also promised to install CCTV cameras to improve the security situation at the school. 
 
Baffour Kwadwo Damoah Afari, the Sanaahene (sub-chief) of the Dormaa Traditional Area and Chairman of the PTA of the school, thanked the paramount chief for his immense support towards the development of the school. 
 
On completion, he said the fence wall project would greatly help enhance the school’s security situation and ward-off encroachers. 
 
Baffour Afari said the PTA had undertaken various projects including building and fencing of the girls’ dormitory and also purchased a generator for the school. 
 
Mr Thomas Asante Armstrong, the Headmaster of the Dormaa Senior High School, also expressed appreciation to the paramount chief for his support and pledged to ensure that all the building blocks are utilized for the intended purpose.
