Sunyani, the Bono Regional capital is set for a community medical outreach to be hosted by the First Lady Lordina Dramani Mahama at the Jubilee Park.
A letter issued and signed by Mr David Nar-ire Puobenyere, Acting Bono Regional Coordinating Director, said the event was scheduled for Thursday November 13, 2025, and aimed at providing integrated health and wellness services to the public.
The event focuses on health education and preventive care, a copy of the letter made available to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) indicated, adding services including HIV testing and education on prevention would be offered at the day’s event.
Other services include condom demonstrations and distribution, as well as free health screening for syphilis, blood pressure, breast cancer as well as assessment of Body Mass Index (BMI), nutrition counseling and other medical conditions.
It explained that the office of the First Lady in collaboration with the Bono Regional Coordinating Council and the Ghana AIDS Commission were organizing the outreach, which would provide opportunities for individuals to know their various health conditions.
The outreach also aimed at enhancing public understanding on healthy living, reproductive health education, and overall wellness.
