At least seven cars have been destroyed in an inferno at a mechanic shop in Osu on Sunday.
According to reports, the fire which started at the shop spread to an adjoining building, destroying three rooms in the building, their washroom and the engine component of a V8 and V6 vehicle.
Reports say, all the cars destroyed in the inferno were quite new cars and a motorbike in the affected area was also razed down.
It took personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service nearly 40 minutes to totally extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is yet unknown and no deaths or injuries were recorded in its wake.
