The Jospong Group has donated GHS200,000 towards the completion of the Zoomlion Central Mosque at Ashalley Botwe–Nmai Dzorn.

The donation was announced by the group’s Executive Chairman, Joseph Siaw Agyepong, at a ceremony attended by community leaders and the Imam of the mosque, Imam Adams Abdullahi.

Dr Agyepong said the contribution would cover the remaining construction costs, provide operational equipment, and support the installation of a generator.

“This project has taken a long time, and we are happy to support its completion,” he said.

The donation reflected the group’s commitment to giving back to the communities in which it operates.

Dr Agyepong emphasised religious tolerance and national unity, describing the Zoomlion community as a model of peaceful coexistence.

“At Zoomlion, we do not see Muslims or Christians. We see Ghanaians working together as one people,” he said.

He credited the leadership of the Chief Imam for fostering mutual respect and harmony.

He appreciated Muslim staff of the Jospong Group, particularly during the sacred month of Zulhijah, praising their dedication, integrity, and contribution to the company’s success.

Representing the National Chief Imam, Mohammed Abubakar Marzuk Azindoo commended Dr Agyepong for promoting reconciliation and excellence.

He warned against growing threats to interfaith harmony in the country. “We must not allow these threats to succeed,” he said.

Imam Adams Abdullahi described Dr Agyepong as a man of integrity who supports people regardless of faith.

The donation is expected to speed up the final phase of construction of the Zoomlion Central Mosque.
