The Adentan Circuit Court has granted bail to Ebo Noah, who is facing charges related to alleged disorderly conduct that prompted concerns over public safety and his mental state.
The court set bail at GHC 100,000 with two sureties. One surety is required to provide a landed property or a vehicle as justification.
This decision follows the submission of a psychiatric report to the court.
Earlier, Mr. Noah had been remanded into police custody for two weeks, during which the court ordered him to undergo evaluation at the Pantang Psychiatric Hospital.
The presentation of the medical report at Thursday’s sitting paved the way for the bail ruling.
The case has been adjourned to March 18 for further proceedings. Ebo Noah is expected to meet the bail conditions and return to court on the adjourned date.
