With just about 11 months to Ghana’s 2020 general elections, peace campaigns have started in earnest.
A call for peaceful elections took center stage at the 2020 Masquerade Dance Festival.
The event is organized in Winneba in the Central Region every year and attracts several people from the town and beyond.
At this year’s Masquerade Dance Festival , the performers took the opportunity to preach peace before, during, and after elections.
They demonstrated how election violence can distort the peace and progress of a nation.
The dancers also cautioned against vote buying during this year’s general elections.
