Mr Kojo Frempong, the Election 2024 Parliamentary Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at the Wenchi constituency of the Bono Region, has called on Ghanaians to look beyond partisan politics, and be guided by genuine love for nation.
He advised the public to allow the typical Ghanaian society shared values of peace, social cohesion, community bonds, empathy and mutual respect as well as love for nation, to take precedence over partisan politics.
“Beyond politics we are one people,” he stated when he joined hundreds of Muslims at a gathering held at Wenchi to mark the Eid-Ul-Fitr celebration.
He said “our political opponents aren’t our enemies because we shared a common destiny as Ghanaians.”
Mr Frempong advised Muslims to promote peace and remain tolerant, respecting the views and opinions of others, regardless of their political and religious orientations.
He encouraged Muslims leaders and scholars to frontline development that transcended political divides, in building a better Ghana for all.
“Our presence here isn’t merely symbolic, it’s a sincere demonstration of love, respect and unwavering solidarity with the Muslim community.
“In times like these, we are always reminded that beyond politics we are one people,” bound by shared values of peace, compassion and mutual respect, he stated.
