Reverend Martin Amenaki, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ketu North, has called for collaborations among stakeholders to drive inclusive growth and sustainable development in the municipality.
The call was made during his Sessional Address at the First Ordinary Meeting of the Third Session of the Fifth Ketu North Municipal Assembly, where he outlined progress made and set priorities for the next phase of development.
The meeting brought together Assembly Members, heads of departments, and other stakeholders, providing a platform for the MCE to account for the Assembly’s performance, highlight key achievements, and outline strategies to accelerate development.
Rev Amenaki reiterated the Assembly’s commitment to implementing policies and programmes aimed at improving the socio-economic wellbeing of residents, while upholding transparency and accountability in local governance.

He said the Assembly also deliberated on key issues affecting the municipality, including the review and approval of Zonal Council reports, which are critical to grassroots governance and service delivery.
A key highlight of the session was the presentation of the draft Medium Term Development Plan (2026–2029), which will serve as a blueprint for development activities over the next four years.
The MCE explained that the plan prioritises critical sectors such as infrastructure development, education, healthcare delivery, agriculture, and economic empowerment, all geared towards promoting inclusive growth and improving livelihoods.
He commended Assembly Members and stakeholders for their active participation and dedication, noting that their contributions were essential to achieving the Assembly’s development goals.
Rev Amenaki urged continued unity and cooperation among all stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of policies and programmes.
“We must work together to build a more inclusive, resilient, and prosperous Ketu North that benefits every resident,” he said.
