Federated Commodities PLC (FEDCO) has donated GHC200,000 to the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (GMTF) in a move aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery and patient care nationwide.
The contribution was formally presented on Thursday, May 14, when a FEDCO delegation led by Hajia Maria Adamu-Zibo visited the Trust Fund’s office.
They were received by GMTF Administrator Adjoa Obuobia Darko-Opoku and other team members.
Described as a strong demonstration of corporate responsibility, the funds are expected to support ongoing initiatives focused on improving treatment access and easing the burden on vulnerable patients.
In response, the Ghana Medical Trust Fund expressed appreciation for the donation, emphasising that such private-sector partnerships are vital to achieving its goal of a healthier Ghana and expanding healthcare reach across the country.
