Joseph Owusu Badu declared wanted in investment fraud probe – EOCO

The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has officially declared Joseph Owusu Badu wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation into alleged investment fraud.

In a public notice issued on Tuesday, the state anti-corruption agency stated that it is actively seeking Mr. Owusu Badu to assist with inquiries into the financial crime.

While EOCO has not disclosed the specific scale of the alleged fraud or the number of victims involved, it confirmed that investigations are currently underway.

As part of its appeal for public assistance, EOCO has urged anyone with information regarding the suspect’s current location or activities to come forward immediately.

Citizens are advised to report tips to EOCO’s Head Office, located adjacent to the Old Parliament House on Barnes Road in Accra.

Information can also be directed to any of the agency’s regional offices or to the nearest police station.

Authorities have assured the public that all information provided will be treated with confidentiality, and have called for calm and cooperation as the legal process unfolds.
