Dr Bawumia expressed confidence that the newly elected officers would discharge their responsibilities with dedication, integrity and commitment to the ideals and values of the party.

He urged them to work closely with polling station executives, electoral area coordinators, constituency officers, regional executives, Members of Parliament (MPs), former party officials and other stakeholders to build a stronger and more united party.

“The confidence reposed in you by the delegates is a call to selfless service and hard work. I am confident that together we can build a stronger and more united New Patriotic Party capable of winning the confidence of the Ghanaian people once again,” he said.

Dr Bawumia also appealed to aspirants who were unsuccessful in the elections to accept the outcome in good faith and support the newly elected executives.

According to him, every member of the party remained an important stakeholder whose contribution would be essential in advancing the fortunes of the NPP ahead of the next general elections.
