Sakumono murder: Police arrest one, offer GH¢100,000 reward for key suspect

The Ghana Police Service has arrested a 47-year-old woman in connection with the murder of two persons at NTHC Estate, Sakumono, and placed a GH¢100,000 reward on information leading to the arrest of the principal suspect.

The suspect, identified as Beatrice Mumuni, is alleged to have led the principal suspect, Samuel Christopher Osei Anto, to the residence of the deceased, George Atuguba and Irene Atuguba, before they were murdered on October 30, 2026.

In a press release copied to the Ghana News Agency, the Police said Anto had been declared wanted to assist in investigations into the double murder.
