Elvina Naa Densua Mould: A life of passion and drive

The Late, Elvina Naa Densua Mould

Elvina Naa Densua Mould was born on Thursday, 30th January 1992 at North Ridge Clinic in Accra, Ghana. She was the first child of proud parents Alexander Kofi- Mensah Mould of Jamestown, Accra and Mariel Ayorkor Mould (nee Arbenser) of Osu, Accra.

“Nah D” as she was affectionately called, attended the Ghana International School in Accra for her primary education and most of her secondary education from Class 2 to Form Five. After completing her GCSE exams, she attended the renowned SOS Herman Gmeiner College in Tema, Ghana where she sat for her IB exams and gained admission to Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia USA.

At the private women’s liberal arts college, she thrived as a prominent member of the African Student Union, Money and Banking Club and Studio Theatre Dance Ballet graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Relations.

Even as a young university student, work and real-life experience were important to Nah Densua and as someone keen on deepening her world view, she pursued challenging internship opportunities across the globe with Oratech Consultancy Ltd, London; Standard Bank, London; Oando PLC, London and Galena Asset Management (Trafigura Group, Geneva); all whilst earning an International Trade and Business Certificate from Brown Certificate from Brown University in Rhode Island, USA

Upon graduation, Nah D returned to Ghana and immediately started her National Service, working as Project Coordinator at the telecom organisation, Surfline Communications Limited. Staying at Surfline, she then took the role of business analyst with the marketing team to deliver cutting edge products and services as well as analyse revenue trends for reporting purposes. Her impact was felt through departmental meetings as she was very vocal.

She contributed to flagship products and bundle offers at her time at Surfline and will forever remembered as the people’s person. Tenacious in spirit and always in search of a challenge, Nah D went on to join Merchant Company of West Africa (MECOWA) as a Marketing and Business Development Analyst for approximately two years, before landing her dream role within Fairfax Oil and Gas Services, a subsidiary of Springfield E&P Group.

At Springfield Group, Nah D boldly worked as the company’s first and only female member of the Drilling Project team, playing a pivotal role in the company’s historical drilling campaign and other great achievement

Outside her career efforts, Nah Densua was an avid traveler who loved helping others and served on several volunteer groups such as the Tarkwa Breman Community Alliance (TCBA) project aimed at empowering lives in Tarkwa, Breman in rural Ghana, etc…

Most importantly, Nah D was family oriented and passionately devoted her time and energy to helping her family and planning family activities. She took her big sister role to her only brother, Glen very seriously, as they were often known to wrangle about any and everything. She loved the arts, singing, travelling and had a well-known healthy appetite which Nah D our very own “travelling foodie”.

Always ready for a selfie and passionate about photography, we all lived vicariously through the lens of her appreciation of culture, captured as she travelled the world.
