Ghana TVET Service launches 2026 nationwide recruitment for teaching and non-teaching staff

The Ghana Technical and Vocational Education and Training Service (GTVETS) has officially launched its 2026 nationwide recruitment drive, inviting applications from qualified Ghanaians for both teaching and non-teaching positions nationwide.

The recruitment exercise began on Friday, May 8, 2026, following financial clearance granted to the Service by the Ministry of Finance.

It is being conducted in collaboration with the Public Services Commission. The recruitment covers a wide range of roles under two main categories.

For the teaching staff positions, senior tutor/facilitators are expected to have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Education, or Social Sciences, plus a professional qualification in Education and at least one year of post-Bachelor’s work experience.

Tutors should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, or a related field, plus a professional qualification in Education.

However, those applying for non-teaching staff positions, including Administrative Managers and Assistant Managers, Senior Assistants, Matrons and Assistant Matrons, Catering staff at various grades, Security Guards, Drivers, and Cleaners/Labourers, requirements vary by role, from BECE and WASSCE certificates for entry-level positions to Master’s degrees for senior administrative and catering management roles.

All applicants must hold relevant academic and professional qualifications, be willing to serve in any part of the country, and have completed National Service where applicable. Shortlisted candidates will be required to pass competitive selection interviews.

Applications may be submitted in person at the Ghana TVET Service Headquarters, located at 44 Boundary Road, East Legon, Accra, where forms can be picked up and returned. Online applications are also accepted via the Service’s accredited third-party platform at: https://tvets.organiseteam.com

All submissions must be completed by Friday, May 22, 2026.

The public should note that the Ghana TVET Service has warned against making any payments to individuals claiming to offer assistance with the recruitment process, stressing that the exercise is transparent, merit-based, and equitable.
