President John Dramani Mahama made the declaration in New York after ringing the closing bell at the Nasdaq Stock Market, in a high-profile showcase of Ghana’s renewed investment ambitions.
A statement issued by Ghana’s Presidency said the occasion saw President Mahama featured on the Nasdaq billboard in Times Square, carrying the bold message: “Ghana Is Open for Business.”
It said the symbolic moment set the tone for the United States–Ghana Presidential Roundtable, as Ghana positioned itself before global investors as a destination for opportunity, partnership, and growth.
