Dr Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as Napo, said the gesture was inspired by his conviction that vulnerable members of society deserved support and care.

He urged Ghanaians to cultivate the habit of giving, noting that one did not have to be wealthy before extending a helping hand to the needy.

“Giving brings a lot of blessings, and we must all cultivate the habit of giving,” he said, adding that his support was driven by his belief in the blessings associated with helping the vulnerable in society.

Dr Opoku Prempeh noted that even small contributions could significantly improve the lives of vulnerable people and help build a more caring and compassionate society.

He encouraged individuals, organisations and institutions to support care facilities to enhance the services they provide to vulnerable children, persons with disabilities and others requiring specialised care.
