The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Ghana has risen to 6,486 from the previous 6,269.
This means 217 new cases have been confirmed in the country.
The latest update was published on the Ghana Health Service’s COVID-19 dashboard on May 22, 2020.
According to the GHS, 53 more people have recovered from the virus, putting the total number of recoveries at 1,951.
Still leading the chart on the regional break down of Coronavirus cases is the Greater Accra Region 4,699 cases, followed by the Ashanti with 988 cases and the Central Regions with 287 cases.
