Ghana’s coronavirus cases hit 20,085

Ghana has crossed the 20,000 mark in its coronavirus case count.

697 new cases have been confirmed by the Ghana Health Service bringing the national total to 20,085.

The death count has risen to 122 after five new casualties were recorded.

Ghana’s recoveries/discharges stand at 14,870, according to the Ghana Health Service.

With the new updates, it means the country’s active coronavirus cases are 5,093.

President Akufo-Addo has gone into self-isolation after one member of his team is said to have tested positive.

Though government says the President’s last test as of July 4, was negative, the nation’s leader decided to self-isolate.
